During the development and production of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), they must never be associated with animal genes or animal-derived components. However, plant-based ingredients are not included.

Cross-contamination with non-vegans

Potential cross-contamination with animal-derived and animal-derived ingredients should be avoided as far as possible. Before operating a Vegan production line, the minimum footprint and equipment must be cleaned. Be aware of the risk of cross-contamination from non-vegan materials during production and take all practical and reasonable steps to prevent this. If vegan and non-vegan are produced on the same line, it is recommended that the non-vegan line be produced first.

License Terms

Licenses for vegan trademarks are available for 12 or 24 months, with UK renewals checked 1-2 months before the expiration date. If there are no changes to the product at the time of renewal (product name/design change, all ingredient changes, product discontinuation, etc.), you can pay the same amount as the original license fee and extend the period by renewing the contract.

Period

It takes about 30 to 60 days from receipt of application to completion of registration. (Based on working days) The lead time may vary slightly depending on various factors such as the type of product and ingredients, the speed of document response, cost handling, and communication efficiency.

Cost

The license fee is calculated flexibly in consideration of the company's annual sales,
the number of product registrations, and the type of product. If registration
is not possible because the product is judged not to be vegan during
the review of whether the product is vegan, 50% of
the payment amount will be refunded.
